Don&#8217;t mess with the settings. Just install them.<\/li>\n<li>Run &#8220;Audio Repeater Pro (64 bit)&#8221;. Use these settings:\n<ul>\n<li>Input Device: Microphone (Logitech G935 Gaming Headset)<\/li>\n<li>Output Device: CABLE Input (VB-Audio Cable B)<\/li>\n<li>Stream Format: Processing Format (default)<\/li>\n<li>Stream Buffer: 40 milliseconds (default)<\/li>\n<li>Process Audio: (not checked)<\/li>\n<li>Stream Gain: 100%<\/li>\n<li>Stream FX: FX Chain (default)<\/li>\n<li>Bypass FX Chain: (not checked)<\/li>\n<li>Click &#8220;Start&#8221;.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>In the task icon area of the taskbar, right-click the speaker, and select &#8220;Recording Devices&#8221;.\n<ol>\n<li>Right-click Microphone (Logitech G935 Gaming Headset), and select &#8220;Set as Default Device&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>Right-click Microphone (Logitech G935 Gaming Headset), and select &#8220;Properties&#8221;.\n<ul>\n<li>On the &#8220;Listen&#8221; tab, set to UN-check &#8220;Listen to this device&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>On the &#8220;Levels&#8221; tab, set to 90.<\/li>\n<li>Click OK.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Right-click CABLE-B Output, and select &#8220;Properties&#8221;.\n<ul>\n<li>On the &#8220;Listen&#8221; tab, CHECK &#8220;Listen to this device&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>On the &#8220;Listen&#8221; tab, set &#8220;Playback through this device&#8221; to &#8220;Speakers (Logitech G935 Gaming Headset)&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>On the &#8220;Levels&#8221; tab, set both to 100.<\/li>\n<li>Click OK.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>In the &#8220;Playback&#8221; tab of the Sound application.\n<ul>\n<li>Right-click the headset, and select &#8220;Set as Default Communication Device&#8221;.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Run Chrome.<\/li>\n<li>In Chrome, go to <a href=\"https:\/\/meet.google.com\/\">Google Meet<\/a>, and join the meeting.<\/li>\n<li>When the Meet window opens, click the three dots in the bottom right corner and click &#8220;Settings&#8221;. On the Audio tab, use these settings:\n<ul>\n<li>Microphone: CABLE Output (VB-Audio Cable B).<\/li>\n<li>Speakers: Speakers (Logitech G935 Gaming Headset).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Open VLC Media Player.\n<ol>\n<li>Add songs to the playlist.<\/li>\n<li>In the Audio menu, select Audio &gt;&gt; Audio Device &gt;&gt; CABLE Input (VB-Audio Cable B)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Invite people to join the hangout.<\/li>\n<li>Play songs in VLC. Other people in the Hangout will hear them. To avoid drowning myself out, I set the VLC output level to about 80%.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Recording<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Here are the settings I used to record in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flashbackrecorder.com\/express\">Flashback Express<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>In the Tools &gt;&gt; Options menu, look in the Sound section.<\/li>\n<li>Under Sound Source, select &#8220;PC Speakers (what you hear)&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>In the drop-down under &#8220;PC Speakers (what you hear)&#8221;, select the headset.<\/li>\n<li>Now, when recording in Flashback Express&#8230;\n<ol>\n<li>Under &#8220;Record&#8221;, select &#8220;Window&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>Check &#8220;Record Sound&#8221;.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Still in Flashback Express, in the sound section, check &#8220;Record Sound&#8221;, and for the source select &#8220;Speakers (Logitech G935 Headset)&#8221;.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>When done with the hangout<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Close the Hangout window.<\/li>\n<li>Click &#8220;Stop&#8221; in &#8220;Audio Repeater Pro (64 bit)&#8221;, and close it.<\/li>\n<li>Close VLC Media Player.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Here is how I play music (MP3 files) into a Google Meet.
